The Real Meaning of Christmas

once upon a time i believed a big fat ol' man came down the chimney every year on December 25 to drop some goodies for everyone, old and young, short and tall. chances are you probably thought the same too, way back then, or even right now. but regardless Christmas has nothing to do with a fat guy givin' pressies to people. quite frankly, i don't care if you're atheist, buddhist, hindu, islam or of any other religion if you're reading this, if you are one of these prepare to face the undeniable truth. tomorrow on december 25 is our saviour, Jesus Christ's bday. Jesus was born from a virgin's womb, in a manger (stable), in Bethlehem. the Messiah had finally landed on Earth's soil.

december 25 hosts the biggest birthday party in man kind's history. if you think Christmas is cool, the party in heaven will rock even harder. the point i'm trying to get across y'all is not just about saying 'oooooh' i wonder what i got for Christmas! it's about Jesus! and that is what i see many people are missing. giving and receiving gifts for Christmas is cool and all, and i do it too. but it is simply more than just that. Christmas is about being thankful that the Lord actually gave Jesus to us. so that we can live a righteous life and go to heaven. if we didn't have Jesus there would be no way we could ever go to heaven, we would all burn in hell for eternity. we should share this joy together and appreciate what the Father has given us and not try to take it as an oppurtunity to get new stuff. Christmas is this truly special time. the coming of Jesus brang many things, many great things to this simply unlawful world. we should rejoice and sing praises about these events, and be thankful.

yeah, i know today is christmas eve and maybe i should of posted earlier but i just couldnt get my thoughts all together until now. and it still seems quite incoherent. i pray that God gives you the gift of tongues and interpretation to decode my messy thoughts.

we can never be too thankful
*hoists a cup of pop* to JESUS everyone! (:
G'nite y'all and have a merry merry Christmas.
