Jesus Calms The Storm.

matthew 8 : 23 - 27 follow along y' all : D

23Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!"
26He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
27The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"

at times where life is trialing you must have faith in God. you must understand that God has total control over everything. you have to just simply let go no matter how hard that is and just let God drive the car of life for you. because whatever God does for you is good, even though you think that it is horrible you gotta keep in mind that God loves you and is watching over you all the time.


the disciples in this case were weak in faith and scared for their own lives. to make the disciples faith stronger Jesus showed them what he was made of - he rebuked the storm and told his followers that the storm was a tiny little thing that they should not fear of. the disciples had feared to much for their lives yet they should of cared more about their relationship with Christ instead - or something of that nature.


do not resist God's influence in your life. let God work in your life. you should be a tool, reliable strong, powerful and unwaivering. think of yourself as a tool. are you rusty and might fall apart? or are you a tool that is clean, fortified and valuable - something God can use and rely upon. a good "tool" was Moses without a doubt. God told Moses everything, God could rely on him to lead His people out of egypt. if i were a screwdriver, moses would be like a 5 in one lol



the gist : dont worry about things - God will provide
- let God control your life, dont solo it.
- dont stop God's infleunce on your life
- if you love Him he'll always be by your side <3 (forgot how to make a heart : P)
