interesting message proposed by Casting Crowns. in the song, it talks about moving your big arse over to simply let Jesus do the work. they say that non-christians aren't confused by the gospel. they are confused by christians. our ideas, our translations of the bible, our thoughts, our 'addiction' to the gospel. Jesus is the way to the Father and that we aren't the only way to Jesus. that we are slowing the down the process of saving more people.
im confused. in this blog, i post my ideas, my thoughts, everything about God. my opinions. so what im doing is wrong? have i confused anyone?
hope fully ill get a part 2 on this.

may the force be with you as well!
I guess i'll try to balance out what the Crowns are talking about. the challenge for non-christians are "Christians" (the ones that aren't real Christians i mean). Jesus showed us God. We are the witness of Jesus so we should show them Jesus, and therefore God. The challenge comes when Christians are stuck in their intellectual ivory towers and become removed from the people the are meant to serve. They burden non-christians with all the garbage that are just frills and neglect the meat, a relationship with Christ, like the pharisees did. Jesus ought to be revealed in us and that is done by the workings of the Holy Spirit. We, as humans, simply let that happen by living in the Spirit. Everything else, even the best of arguments, is unnecessary. It's the gospel of love, not the gospel of information/argument.
there is nothing wrong with struggling through your faith and sharing what you know. It becomes a problem when you start pretending and putting up the hypocritical masks.
Feel free to email me and we can talk about this further or you can call me too.
